P.F Chang’s is another welcome addition to our after-gym-shenanigans!
If you want to dig into some American Chinese food, P.F. Chang’s is the place to be, all the vegetarian desi Chinese lovers (which includes me) may not quite enjoy the fare dished out here.
The first thing that catches your eye is the two life-size horse statues standing right at the entrance. The ambience is one of the strongest points of P.F Chang’s. It is both welcoming and intriguing. After all, you’d want to go and try the food at that place which has two horses placed right at the entrance 😀

The staff is warm and welcoming too. As soon as my husband and I entered the restaurant, we were guided to a table and the menu book was immediately handed over to us. The menu book at P.F. Chang’s is godsent for a person like me, who takes a great deal of time in ordering food (I am usually spoilt for choice in most places, you see). But, in this case, the vegetarian fare had just two items to it. I quickly settled for a dish called, “Coconut Curry Vegetables” with some steamed rice.
The husband, on the other hand, was having a field day, choosing from the myriad non-vegetarian options available at P.F Chang’s! For starters, he decided to go for the hugely popular and highly recommended, Dynamite Prawns and for the main course, he chose “Wok Charred Beef” with steamed rice.
The Coconut Curry Vegetables was just about okay, I didn’t quite enjoy the tofu pieces in the curry, primarily because it reeked of palm oil. The steamed rice, well, was steamed well, good job there! The good thing is that I could finish my curry and that I didn’t feel like hopping onto the backs of one of the horses at the entrance and galloping away home because the food was bad..haha!

The Dynamite Prawns lived up to its hype, my husband really liked the gentle and the creamy flavour of this dish for a change, as opposed to Indian Prawn starters that can pack quite a punch! As for the Wok Charred Beef, the meat was cooked well, the flavours delightful with pieces of both beef, mushrooms and sauteed veggies. My husband enjoyed the food here and needless to say, my company too! 😉

All in all, P.F Chang’s a must-visit if you’re a non-vegetarian or a vegetarian who loves American Chinese cuisine.
