Adaminde Chayakada is probably one of the very few restaurants in Qusais, that has managed to garner so much attention and curiosity in recent times! The ambience has a very nostalgic feel to it, the auto rickshaw perched at the entrance, to the milk cans hanging from the ceiling, the table fans, the scooter, the barrows – there is just so much of detailing and creativity that has gone into the designing of this restaurant. Although the restaurant opening was on the 12th of March, 2018, it started serving beverages, snacks and desserts in the evenings, a couple of days prior to the official opening.
My husband and I decided to drop by this restaurant last week, and we loved what we saw at the restaurant! Like I mentioned earlier, the ambience is just so on-point and really creative! As for the food, we decided to have a dessert by the name of Mottamula Browli – simply put, it is an egg ice-cream garnished with some tutti-frutti and seviyan, looked delectable and tasted great (especially the seviyan and the tutti frutti). Since it is an egg ice-cream, there is obviously a tinge of egg in the ice-cream but it is definitely worth trying.

The restaurant also has its own catchy theme song, that’s always playing at the background, the servers are interestingly dressed in a shirt and mundu, giving it a very naadan (rustic) appeal. All in all, Adaminde Chayakada is impressive and I definitely look forward to trying more of their delicacies.
Food : The dessert that I had is totally recommended. I am looking forward to trying some more of their signature dishes.
Ambience : 6/5 for sure! Kudos to the creativity!
Service : Since it was a pretty busy day, I’d like to give the servers, the benefit of the doubt as they couldn’t really pay much attention to all the customers at the restaurant.
